Poster for Graduate School Workshop (Spring 2009)
Each semester, our office offered graduate students and post-docs a one-day workshop to discuss techniques to keep their head above water and maintain ethical practices in research. I created this poster to appeal to a generation raised on reality television. I also took the photo used in the poster. Click image for larger view.
Logo for a new Research Integrity program (Spring 2009)
When a new educational initiative was created, I was tasked with creating a logo that would be visually appealing in both print and online. E-mail Advertisement for an Intellectual Property Workshop (Spring 2007)
In order to make a workshop offering stand out, I was asked to create an e-mail advertisement involving images. After working with another unit to establish use of a server to send the e-mail, I created the lightbulb-themed piece, and ensured that the e-mail would still be readable for plain-text users. Poster for Brown Bag Workshop Series (Spring 2006)
Though cookies are not the focus of these research integrity workshops, we found that they were a big draw. Putting the cookie on the poster sparked interest in what it said, and I often saw people reading the posters as I walked through the lobby of our building.
