WordPress Development: BethHayden.com

Beth HaydenI’ve worked with Beth Hayden for several years, and she had recently completed the book Pinfluence: The Complete Guide to Marketing Your Business with Pinterest. To accompany her book release, Beth knew she needed a great, more personalized site to complement her Blogging with Beth site.

Beth loved the Studiopress theme Generate, which is a child theme for their Genesis platform, so she asked designer Eileen Bechtold to use that as a framework and customize the look and feel to match the book design.

Once Eileen was finished, I took over by implementing the design into WordPress and adding custom features.

Design and WordPress Development: CUMC Upward Sports

The Centreville (VA) United Methodist Church Upward Sports SiteThe Centreville (Virginia) United Methodist Church has a vibrant, volunteer-run program for kids.  Working through parent organization Upward Sports, the church has created a basketball and cheerleading program that is faith-based and open to all children in the area.

Originally, the program had a single web page on the main church website, but they had expanded to the point where they needed more functionality.  They asked for a design that would appeal to kids, while allowing them to manage the extensive details of the program easily, including private forums for volunteers and online application forms.

Banner Design and WordPress Support: Burning Down the House Blog

Burning Down the HouseAndi’s house was consumed during the 2010 Four Mile Canyon Fire outside of Boulder, Colorado.  Thankfully, she and her dog were travelling at the time and unhurt physically, but Andi’s house and all her earthly possessions were gone, again.  She had also survived a devastating fire during her childhood.  She started this blog to tell her story.  Please visit BurningDownTheHouseBlog.com for the full site experience.

I donated my time to creating a banner and setting up this site as part of my affiliation with Blogging with Beth, and offer ongoing support.
